There appears to be a little deja vu in the air.
Early last week, Clemson fans sweated as Texas made a strong push for four-star DE target Dre Quinn. Ultimately, that proved out to be more smoke than fire, as Quinn ultimately announced a commitment to Clemson.
This week, something very similar is playing out with what has arguably been the Tigers’ top target in the class, five-star Bryce Perry-Wright, who will be teammates with Quinn this season at Buford (GA). Clemson has been the perceived leader going back more than a year. Perry-Wright has visited Clemson more than any other school, and even has some family connections that tie him to the program.
