One of Clemson’s top recruiting targets has cut his list of schools to four and set a commitment date.
Five-star S Joey O’Brien (LaSalle, PA) named Clemson, Oregon, Penn State and Notre Dame as his three finalists, and he will announce a decision on June 20. O’Brien is fresh off an official visit to Clemson last weekend, and each of the other three finalists will get an official before he commits.
O’Brien nabbed his offer earlier this year, then was on hand for the Elite Retreat, before returning for the big official visit weekend. The Tigers already have two safeties committed in the 2026 class in four-stars Kentavion Anderson and Kaden Gephardt.
