One local in-state prospect made his first game-day visit to Clemson last weekend.
Four-star WR Chanin Harris (Byrnes) made the quick trip up the road with his parents to take in the Tigers’ blowout win over Furman.
The dedication of the Clemson fan base, despite the disappointing season, stood out.
“Just the way the fans came out and supported and packed out the game,” Harris told The Clemson Insider. “The game was real packed out, even though they don’t have the good record and stuff. They still support.”
The 6-foot-1 wideout also liked what he saw from the offense and sees himself fitting nicely into the scheme.
