4-star DE visits, lists Clemson No. 1

Perhaps the biggest development in the week that was the Dabo Swinney Football Camp occurred once session two came to a close on Sunday afternoon.

Clemson was due for some good news on the defensive end recruiting front, and it came in the form of four-star Tony Clayton, who’s ranked by the 247 composite as the No. 10 weak-side defensive end in the country.

The Vienna-Dooly County (Ga.) rising senior took his first trip to Clemson on Sunday afternoon. That night, he told TheClemsonInsider that Clemson has vaulted to the top of his list.
