Davion Jones made plans to work out at just one camp this summer, and it was at Clemson.
Safeties coach Mickey Conn has been impressed by Jones’ film and invited him to Dabo Swinney’s high school camp which was held last week. The four-star safety felt pretty confident that if he went out and performed during the workout, an offer was likely to follow. A few days later, that offer was dispensed.
“Once I knew that coach wanted to get me down there and work out with me, I kind of knew it was coming,” Jones told The Clemson Insider.
