Ironically, Clemson landed its first commitment from a 2027 linebacker before it landed its first from one in the 2026 class.
Four-star Max Brown committed to the Tigers earlier this month as soon as he landed his offer. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound recruit, who had close to 20 total offers, is the younger brother of current Clemson linebacker Sammy Brown.
As a sophomore, Brown racked up an overly impressive 152 total tackles, averaging more than 10 stops per game. He added 14 tackles for loss, two sacks, a forced fumble and three fumble recoveries.
Rivals ranks Brown No.
