4 Reasons Why The Clemson Tigers Are Guaranteed To Make The College Football Playoff

The Clemson Tigers are the favorite to win the ACC in 2015, which would put them in prime position to make the College Football Playoff. Here are four reasons why they're guaranteed to do just that:

4) Weak ACC schedule

Clemson's non-conference schedule is tough with contests against Notre Dame and South Carolina, but ACC play shouldn't be too harsh on the Tigers as they get almost all of their big games at home - including Florida State. The Seminoles have major quarterback questions, which could keep them from winning 10 or more games this season, and the rest of the ACC doesn't have the talent to truly compete with Clemson.

3) Explosive offensive weapons

Former Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris is gone, but RB Wayne Gallman, TE Jordan Leggett, and WR's Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, and Charone Peake are all back and are poised to keep the Tigers' offense as one of the best in the country. All five guys have the speed and quickness to score on any given play, and that should allow Clemson to average over 40 points per game in 2015.

2) Deshaun Watson's greatness

Watson started five games a true freshman, throwing for 1,466 yards and 14 touchdown passes with just two interceptions and completed 68% of this passes. He broke his hand against Louisville, and later sat out because of ACL surgery. All signs point to him being totally healthy in 2015, which is a scary proposition for opponents - and has him as a legitimate Heisman contender.

1) It's time

Clemson has won 10 or more games in each of the last four seasons, but a lack of experience - and Florida State - kept them taking the next step. After years of top recruiting classes, Dabo Swinney has the talent and experience on his roster to match anyone in the country and overpower the ACC.
