3 Clemson 2016 Football Recruits Who Will Become Stars In Their Freshman Season

The Clemson Tigers put the finishing touches on a top-ten national recruiting class on Wednesday, and there are plenty of buzz-worthy commits that are readying to make a splash with the 2016 College Football Playoff runners-up. With that being said, here's 3 Clemson 2016 Recruits Who Will Become Stars In Their Freshman Season.

CB Trayvon Mullen

Defensive coordinator Brent Venables lost 3/4 of his starting secondary, so Mullen's going to get plenty of on-field reps from Week 1 on. An absolute game-changer thanks to his eye-popping athleticism and ability to shadow wide receivers on every route twist and turn, Mullen's the first step in replacing the impact trio of Jayron Kearse, Mackensie Alexander and TJ Green. APB Tavien Feaster

Feaster's headed for minor shoulder surgery, which may put him a little behind heading into spring practice. However, Feaster's got the CJ Spiller vibe and is destined to find a groove by the middle of the 2016 season.

"Didn’t know if I’d ever see another guy like C.J. but he’s about as close as any I’ve seen," head coach Dabo Swinney said of Feaster. High praise indeed, but what do you expect when it comes to one of the highest-upside dual-threat backs we've seen come out of the prep level in a long time.

DT Dexter Lawrence

Lawrence is a massive tackle who'll be anchoring the defensive attack sooner rather than later, but it's his versatility and deceptive agility which will push him to superstardom. He's so nimble that he was able to shift to defensive end at times in high school, and he's going to be a very intriguing and integral piece for Venables to work with in 2016 and beyond.
