The Cleveland Indians reportedly told teams that they wanted that organizations “best offer” by the weekend so that they could make a decision on whether or not they would trade their 4-time All-Star shortstop Francisco Lindor. Late in the week we learned that the Cincinnati Reds had reportedly called Cleveland to discuss a deal, or at least see what the cost of acquisition would be.
Jon Heyman of MLB Network noted that the Indians really like center fielder Nick Senzel.
Regarding Lindor, Indians are said to like Nick Senzel very much. Haven’t actually heard of a lot of talk between the teams yet but doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
