Walker Buehler, the Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series Game 3 starter, has said he grew up a Cincinnati Reds fan in Lexington, Kentucky.
Before the start of Friday's game, he told FOX analyst John Smoltz that former Reds starters Aaron Harang, Bronson Arroyo and Johnny Cueto were among pitchers he emulated.
"Was there anybody when you were growing up that you looked to model whether it was mechanics or style, the way you went about it?" Smoltz asked Buehler.
"Yeah, I was a huge Reds fan growing up. Harang and Bronson Arroyo and Cueto.
