The committee does what the committee does. There is no use wondering how a team that was largely viewed as a 7 seed before its conference tournament can sweep the weekend, defeat the best team in the league in the finals. . . and end up with a 7 seed.
But let’s do it anyway.
I thought the UC Bearcats were tired. They looked and played that way a week ago Sunday, Senior Day v. Houston. Mick Cronin admitted as much.
