The Triple-A Louisville Bats maintain a 18-26 record and reside in 3rd place in the 4-team International League West Division. The Louisville Bats lost some minor league depth and roster fill with the departure of starting pitcher Odrisamer Despaigne and reliever Anthony Bass with opt out clauses in their minor league contracts while Cody Reed and Josh VanMeter familiarized themselves with the Louisville Shuttle.
