Frankie Montas was banged around for 9 hits and 4 earned runs in today’s start against the San Diego Padres, but he did manage to save the bullpen and get through 6 IP. Fortunately for the Cincinnati Reds, Nick Martini turned back into Good Nick Martini™ and socked a 2-run tater in the Bottom of the 6th inning to bring the score level at 4-4.
I forgot today was a day game and airballed on the Game Thread, so this is officially today’s Game Thread.
