GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Sonny Gray was sharp across five innings, but the Reds closed their 2019 Cactus League season with a 4-3 loss to the Colorado Rockies in front of 8,469 fans at Goodyear Ballpark.
Most starters exited after two plate appearances. The Reds completed the spring with an 8-17-5 record. They drew an average of 5,475 fans per game, their highest spring attendance since moving to Goodyear. They averaged 4,713 fans last year.
