Erwin Ronald "Ronnie" Grubb - a Cincinnati native known as "Ronnie Dale" as the Cincinnati Reds organist at Crosley Field for about 14 years, passed away Sunday (Dec. 31) at the age of 86.

Family members say he was the first organist to lead the crowd in yelling "Charge!" - still heard today at ballparks and arenas everywhere - and was once told by umpire Jocko Conlan to stop playing it.
