PHOENIX – With the end of spring training in sight, the Cincinnati Reds had a prominent player leave Friday's 6-4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers due to injury.

Scooter Gennett had to be helped off the field in the second inning after injuring his groin fielding a ground ball. Manager David Bell didn't speculate the severity of the injury.
