Reports: Pete Rose investigator John Dowd hired by President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump has hired attorney John Dowd - who led Major League Baseball's investigation of Pete Rose's gambling and authored the Dowd Report that led to the Hit King being banned from baseball in 1989 - as part of his legal team for a special counsel investigation, according to reports from CNN.com and Politico.com.
