Reports: Former Cincinnati Reds infielder Wayne Krenchicki dies at 64

ESPN baseball analyst and former Cincinnati Reds player Eduardo Perez, Pro Star Management and the Frontier League are among those offering condolences via Twitter following the death of former Red Wayne Krenchicki at 64.

Krenchicki played for the Reds for parts of four seasons - from 1982 to 1985 - of his eight-season Major League Baseball career, hitting .283 in 701 plate appearances as a Red.

In March of 1986, Krenchicki was traded by the Reds to the Montreal Expos for a player to be named later and pitcher Norm Charlton. His season with the Expos was his last in the majors.
