RedsXtra: Where the Cincinnati Reds stand compared to the rest of the National League Central

After ending the 2019 season with a 75-87 record and a fourth-place finish in the National League Central, the Cincinnati Reds need to improve by about 15 games to reach their goal of playing in the postseason for the first time since 2013.

The Reds will need their starting pitchers to maintain their progress from this year as they look to upgrade their offense through free agency and/or trades. Another area will be improving against divisional opponents. The Reds had a 33-43 record against NL Central teams and a 42-44 record against all other teams.
