ST. LOUIS — The question gave Adam Dunn pause.
Dunn was asked what he thinks of his career, now that he’s four years removed from playing.
Is he happy with it?
“You know, that’s a tough question,” he said. “Yes and no. Obviously, the ultimate goal was never accomplished. That’s winning a World Series. That would have definitely put the icing on the cake, solidifying my career.
“To not accomplish that, I don’t want to call it a disappointment. It’s something I would have really, really enjoyed to look on my mantel and see one of those big old rings.
