The Cincinnati Reds on Thursday held a workout for right-hander Justin Masterson, a source confirmed to The Enquirer. MLB.com first reported the workout.
The 31-year-old Masterson has spent nearly all of his career with the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox. He broke out in 2011 with Cleveland by posting a 3.21 ERA in 216 innings, and two years later turned in a 3.45 ERA in 193 frames.
