The second of four games between the Reds and Cards will feature Bronson Arroyo’s attempt to keep balls in the yard as well as Lance Lynn’s attempt at stifling the Reds for a second time this season.
Arroyo has allowed an MLB-worst 19 homers so far this year (and only needed 57.2 IP to do so), 10 of which have come while in GABP. Somewhat surprisingly, his 5.35 home ERA is actually better than the 7.50 mark he’s allowed on the road, so perhaps there’s a glimmer of hope we’ll see Goodroyo again after he allowed just 2 ER in 6 IP in GABP against the Atlanta Braves in his last outing.
