When Bryan Price was filling out his lineup card for Wednesday’s game against the Cardinals, he knew he was going to find a place for Scooter Gennett somewhere, because if a four-homer game doesn’t earn you a spot in the starting lineup the next game, nothing will.
“Every now and again, I receive my share of mail that suggests I should be making decisions other than the ones I’m making and I’d think after a four-home run game and not starting him, I’d get even more of those letters,” Price joked before Wednesday’s game against the Cardinals.
