ST. LOUIS - The Cincinnati Reds returned to Busch Stadium on Monday to make up a game that was rained out back in April. After an 8-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals that included an injury to starting pitcher Brandon Finnegan, they probably wish they’d never come back.
Here are the main storylines.
Finnegan was healthy for about an hour and a half. Finnegan was officially activated from the 60-day disabled list before the game, and made his first start after having missed more than two months with a strained teres major muscle in his back.
