SAN FRANCISCO — The Reds dropped their third straight game in San Francisco, falling 8-3 to the Giants on Sunday at AT&T Park.
Here are the main storylines from Sunday’s game:
• Another pitcher hurt: Reds starter Tim Adleman left Sunday’s game after one inning with tightness in his neck. After going 2-0 to Giants third baseman Christian Arroyo, the sixth batter of the first, Reds manager Bryan Price and head athletic trainer Steve Baumann came to check on Adleman.
Adleman stayed in the game and finished the inning, giving up two more runs on a single by left fielder Eduardo Nunez, but was replaced by Barrett Astin to start the second inning.
