The Reds have reportedly inked fourth round pick Mackenzie Wainwright.
According to Jim Callis of MLB.com, the Cincinnati Reds have inked the first of their six 2020 MLB Draft picks. Mackenzie Wainwright signed a full-slot value with the Reds for $512,400, which is in line with where (113th pick) the outfield prospect in June’s draft.
Wainwright, who will now forgo his commitment to Ohio State University, was a rather shrewd selection by Cincinnati on Day 2 of the draft.
