Their starting pitcher was a fourth starter who Reds’ hitters have crushed over the last few seasons.
The door was wide open this weekend for the Reds to move up in the NL Central standings, but instead they lost the first three games of this weekend’s four-game series against the Brewers. On Sunday, Reds starting pitcher Ben Lively allowed five runs across seven innings as the Reds lost, 5-1, at Great American Ball Park.
