Things were going well for the Reds pitching until the 9th inning. The Pirates had four hits off of Raisel Iglesias and scored twice to walk things off.
The Offense
Aristides Aquino put the Reds ahead 1-0 with his 12th home run of the year, hitting a 402-foot homer in the 2nd inning. That’s where the game stayed until the 6th inning. The Reds wouldn’t score again until the top of the 8th. Freddy Galvis doubled with one out, and then Aristides Aquino doubled to bring him in to give the Reds a 2-1 lead.
Freddy Galvis would finish the night with two hits, going 2-4.
