The incredibly speedy duo of Billy Hamilton and Jose Peraza were penciled in as the #1 and #2 hitters in the Cincinnati Reds lineup at the start of the 2017 season, and that didn't exactly get off to the greatest of starts. In fact, Peraza's initial struggles saw him largely dropped to the #7 spot in the lineup after some 22 games.
Those mutual struggles couldn't have been farther removed from what we watched on Friday night against the San Francisco Giants, however, as both Hamilton and Peraza wreaked havoc on the current last place team in the NL West.
