Garrett, who will be recalled from Triple-A, has been one of the Reds' better starters this season. His demotion on May 7 was more a case of the club having a couple of days off close together. He’s averaged six innings per start with a 1.19 WHIP.
Lester has pitched well his last two outings but doesn't have much to show for it. Maybe being back at Wrigley will help, where he's 1-0 with a 1.44 ERA in four starts. In his last outing, he gave up three earned runs over 5 2/3 vs. the Cardinals.
