We’ve got one final series before the Major League Baseball season is over. The World Series begins tonight with the National League Champion Washington Nationals head to Houston to take on the Astros. Several of Redleg Nation’s writers chimed in to give their take on the World Series.

Strictly as a fan, I hope the Nationals are first to four wins. I know they have a chance because they are in the series; and, I recall 1990 when the Reds were supposedly just there to provide the opposition for the other team. The Nationals starting pitching looks deeper, which could factor in.
