Phillies' Joe Girardi on pitching coach Bryan Price's retirement: 'We were all shocked'

Former Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price - who had two years remaining on his contract as the Philadelphia Phillies' pitching coach - announced Sunday that he's retiring to spend time with his family, a decision Phils manager Joe Girardi said "shocked" the team.

Price was named the Phillies' pitching coach less than one year ago.
