Is it more surprising that former Big Red Machine great and Hit King Pete Rose had a custom-made, Riverfront Stadium-themed aquarium built for him a few years ago? Or that the aquarium is now available to the highest bidder?
An auction hosted by the Wichita Wingnuts and executed by McCurdy Auction LLC will include the aquarium and other pieces from team history Oct. 3, starting at 10 a.m. at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. It is open to the public.
"Miscellaneous Items include a custom created fish tank by Animal Planet's Tanked for Pete Rose," according to mccurdyauction.
