Pete Rose gets credit from Marlins' Perry Hill for wet lettuce under helmet to stay cool

Miami Marlins first base coach Perry Hill was shown putting wet lettuce on his head under his helmet during his team's game Monday against the Atlanta Braves, and he told the FOX Sports broadcast team that Reds Hall of Famer and former Big Red Machine great and Hit King Pete Rose used to do it on hot days to keep cool.

Hill added that cabbage apparently is even more effective than lettuce because it sits better on the head.
