Paul Daugherty: Sorry, Joe Morgan, there's no wrong way to vote for Hall of Fame

Joe Morgan has made a plea, lit a fire and made us think. Think? We Hall of Fame voters are sports writers, many of us. We don’t think.

Morgan blasted an e-mail Tuesday morning, to all media members with a HOF vote. He urged us to keep “known steroid users" out of Cooperstown:

Players who failed drug tests, admitted using steroids, or were identified as users in Major League Baseball’s investigation into steroid abuse, known as the Mitchell Report, should not get in.
