LOS ANGELES – After Hunter Greene learned he made the Cincinnati Reds’ rotation in spring training, it was natural to look at the calendar to see which days his starts lined up.
His second start would be in his hometown to face the Los Angeles Dodgers. He attended games at Dodger Stadium growing up, a fan of shortstop Rafael Furcal, and he noticed he’d pitch one day after Jackie Robinson Day.
