Last night had a little bit of everything: early inning fireworks, starting pitchers chased, and a raucous playoff environment, until it somewhat devolved as it became fairly clear the Yankees bullpen was going to be too overwhelming for the Twins to overcome.
For their troubles, the Yankees now get the privilege of facing the defending AL Champion Indians, who also just happen to be one of the hottest teams leading up to the playoffs.
