Mets' Jay Bruce: 2018 'probably the least favorite season I have ever played'

Former Cincinnati Reds first-round draft pick Jay Bruce had his ups and downs in nine seasons in the Queen City. He was an All-Star three times; he had three consecutive seasons of at least 30 home runs; and he was responsible for one of the greatest moments of the team's past couple of decades when his home run on Sept. 28, 2010 against the Astros clinched the National League Central.

He also hit just .217 in 2014 - a season he called "miserable" and "honestly ... the most embarrassing year of my life" - and .226 in 2015.
