New York Mets President of Baseball Operations David Stearns seems rather confident about his team's chances to make the playoffs. According to FanGraphs, New York currently has an 89.1% chance to make a run at the MLB Postseason, so you can understand why he holds such an unwavering view of his ball club heading into the second-half of the season.
"Once you're able to get a team that's able to get into the tournament, seeding is helpful, the bye is helpful, but goal one is getting into the tournament," Stearns said during an appearance on MLB Network.
