MILWAUKEE -- Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco left Tuesday's game vs. the Brewers in the sixth inning due to a bruised right wrist. X-rays were negative.
Leading off in the top of the second inning, Mesoraco was hit by a pitch from Brewers starter Junior Guerra. He did not receive any extra looks on the field from the trainers and remained in the game. Mesoraco struck out in the fourth inning.
Before the bottom of the sixth inning, Tucker Barnhart took over behind the plate.
