Many Cincinnati Reds fans of a certain age remember the beer vendor at the ballpark screaming, "That's the way, uh huh, uh huh, I like it. Ice cold beer!"
But did you know that play-by-play announcer Matt Vasgersian of MLB Network once went off on the vendor during a Brewers-Reds game at Cinergy Field? 20 years ago Friday, to be exact, according to the Reds via Twitter - when Vasgersian was doing play-by-play for the Brewers.
Vasgersian's unapologetic (with the exception of referring to it as one of his "not-so-finer moments") response, posted by MLB Network via Twitter, in which he wonders what the guy who was "selling the ICEEs, or the Sno-cones, or whatever it was" is up to now:
