Marty Brennaman on Pete Rose: We are supposed to be 'most forgiving country on earth'

With Hit King and former Cincinnati Reds great Pete Rose less than four months away from his 80th birthday, long-time Reds radio play-by-play announcer Marty Brennaman talked to former Reds infielder Bret Boone on the Boone Podcast about why Brennaman insists that Rose belongs in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

"Well (Pete Rose is) one of my dear friends in the game of baseball," Brennaman told Boone. "I'm very prejudiced when I talk about him. I know what his warts are. I know the mistakes he's made. I buy into all of that.
