Cincinnati Reds fans continue to learn more about legendary play-by-play broadcaster Marty Brennaman as his 46th and final season with the team continues.
It already was common knowledge that Brennaman has turned down multiple opportunities in order to stay in Cincinnati. But in a candid interview with the Chicago Sun-Times' Gordon Wittenmyer, Brennaman mentioned specific teams that offered him jobs, and also acknowledged that grouping Cubs fans together as he did in 2008 and generalizing about them "was the single biggest mistake" he made.
