Some Cincinnati Reds fans on social media couldn't help but point out that right-handed pitching prospect Lyon Richardson was scratched from his scheduled start Thursday night at Triple-A Louisville with no reason given, leading to speculation that Richardson might be called up with starter Ben Lively added to the Injured List.
Richardson hasn't been in Louisville for long. He was just promoted from Double-A Chattanooga on July 26.
Richardson wasted no time impressing the Bats in his debut, striking out five of the first six batters he faced for Louisville.
