CHICAGO – The Reds were trailing by two runs in the sixth inning Monday and Luis Castillo was their best chance to stay in the game.
After two hits and a walk, the Chicago Cubs loaded the bases with one out. Castillo’s pitch count was climbing, but he was trusted to pitch out of the jam. He did exactly that with back-to-back strikeouts against David Bote and pinch-hitter Robel Garcia.
Castillo swung his right arm and did a moonwalk off the mound when Garcia swung and missed an 86-mph changeup.
