The bad blood between the Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates didn't start during Tuesday night's game between the National League Central rivals.
But a pitch from the Pirates' Keone Kela up and in to the Reds' Derek Dietrich - whose reaction to a home run appeared to help spark a melee earlier this season between the two teams - crossed the line and likely helped to instigate a ninth-inning brawl, according to FOX Sports Ohio analysts who discussed the fight after the game.
