The MLB offseason hasn't officially begun, but that won't stop the media and fans from rampant speculation about upcoming free agent pursuits and blockbuster trade opportunities. One player who's already caught the eye of the Cincinnati Reds fanbase is Josh Naylor.
Because of Naylor's history with Terry Francona, the Reds were linked to the former Cleveland Guardians' first baseman last winter. Unfortunately, nothing ever materialized, and he was eventually traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Naylor was on the move once more — and the Reds were said to be involved in those trade talks as well — when he was shipped to the Pacific Northwest ahead of the July 31 deadline.
