NEW YORK – The Cincinnati Reds had a double injury scare in the fourth inning of Monday's 5-1 loss to the New York Mets when Jonathan India and Mike Moustakas left the game with leg injuries after reaching base.
The Reds announced India left the game with a right hamstring injury and Moustakas exited with a left calf injury, but India expected to be in Tuesday's lineup and Moustakas was hopeful he avoided a serious injury.
"It wasn’t really my hamstring," India said. "I reached for the bag and my leg kind of locked up.
