National Baseball Hall of Famer and former Cincinnati Reds great Johnny Bench shared a tribute Monday night via Twitter to Charlie Daniels, the country music singer and songwriter who died Monday at the age of 83.
Bench and Daniels were friends with some common interests.
Daniels, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame best known for "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," also often voiced his support of U.S. troops and veterans.
