With the Cincinnati Reds needing a new television play-by-play announcer, Fox Sports Ohio and the Reds turned to an outside voice.
FOX Sports Ohio, in partnership with the Reds, announced Thursday that John Sadak will join the broadcast team for the 2021 baseball season. Most recently, Sadak worked multiple roles with CBS Sports, Westwood One and the New York Mets.
“Watching Reds games is fun and entertaining. John loves baseball, and his excitement for the game comes through every call,” Phil Castellini, Reds President and COO, said in a statement. “His knowledge, experience and warmth will resonate with our fans and we look forward to welcoming John into our Reds family.
